Life is a journey turn your dreams into reality.

Software management professional, a father, husband, son – playing multiple roles and trying to uncover the puzzles of life. In my words – Life is a journey where you turn your dreams into a reality. Many of my dreams are now a reality and there is a huge list of dreams that I see with my eyes open and I still need to make them a reality. When there is lot going on in your thoughts, I thought why not share that with others and get their views on it as well.

Blogging is one of the interest area from my long list of things that I love to do. So, I created this blog site where I can give words to my thoughts and share it with like-minded people. If I talk about my Hobbies, they are quite common ones. My hobbies include – Books, Movies, Music, Photography & Technology

Books

I love reading both Fictional & Non-Fictional books. What fascinates me about the fictional books is that you create your own little world around the story that you are reading, and that experience is very difficult to express in words. In Non-fictional genre I am always inclined to reading inspiring autobiographies. Some of my favourite non-fictional books are – Playing it my way  Sachin TendulkarMade in Japan by Akio Morita, all the books by Rashmi Bansal till date – Connect the dotsI have dreamStay Hungry Stay Foolish. Shiv Khera’s book – You can Win. Rich Dad & Poor Dad and many more the list is huge but these are some of my favourites.

Movies

I can be very easily classified as a movie buff. I love watching movies that are experimental and built backed with great scripts. I truly believe this is a very strong medium to inspire and entertain people. I love to watch movies in the genre of Drama, Suspense or Thriller. There is huge list of my favourite movies in these genre but some are ones I have listed here.

Music

Sometimes I feel what would life be without music. I love listening to Old Hindi movie songs, Ghazals and Instrumental music. Beauty about old Hindi movies song is that their lyrics are soothing to ears and it has meaning also unlike the most new generation songs these days which are very heavy on beats and less of lyrics.  Kishore, Lata, Rafi, Mukesh – songs of these singers I can listen to anytime.

Technology

I remember the days of my graduation, in our Electronics lab we use to key in small programs through 8085 microprocessor kit using Accumulator, Registers (B,C,D,H,L), Stack pointer, program counter and Hexadecimal commands. It is really fascinating to see that how these 0’s and 1’s (bits) is changing our life. I love to experiment things with Technology and learning new concepts and add that learning to my skill set.

Photography

I love capturing moments that touch one’s heart and has a story to tell behind it. To feed this hobby of mine, Instagram and my Sony Alpha 58 DSLR camera comes to my rescue. Some of the pictures below is my amateur try with Photography.

How can I forget to mention about my another hobby that I have which is Playing Chess. Chess.com is my favourite mobile app on which I almost daily play quick 3 minutes blitz games during breaks or wait times. It really fascinates me how 64 squares in every new game builds an altogether new arrangement and gives you a new challenge.

A proverb that I read linked to the Chess and liked very much is:

“When the game is over, the pawns, rooks, knights, bishops, the two kings and two queens – all go in the same box” – An Italian Proverb.

It gives you a good life lesson that end for all is final and is no different for different people.

To sum it all I would say, I truly believe in the fact that never stop learning and keep your mind open to new learnings always. These learnings can come from anywhere, it can come from a 5-year old child or a monk who traveled around the world.

Be yourself, be thankful and there is so much to achieve in life. Go and chase your dreams and enjoy the journey of life.
